Act progression in D2 Survivors

Updated 2026-10-29

This route follows the official A run page, checked 29 October 2026 for build 20261028.2. Each ordinary act has its own six-minute clock. The schedule below lists every zone change; named enemies have a separate schedule. These detailed times are official single-source rules, not measured run times.

Bosses and the times the wiki prints

Andariel, Duriel, Mephisto, Diablo, and Baal are the act bosses. The stamina bar is the act clock. The boss appears at 6:00; clearing the screen does not summon an ordinary act boss early. Menus and card choices pause the act clock. A dead boss opens the red portal to the next act.

Named events and moving between areas

In Act I, Corpsefire appears at 0:55, Blood Raven at 2:25, Rakanishu at 3:35, Treehead WoodFist at 4:10 and Griswold at 4:45. These are separate from the area changes above. Treehead and Rakanishu matter for Cain; Griswold matters for the cow level. In Act V, the five Baal waves start in the Throne before the act boss.

An area change brings the next terrain in from the edge. Cross its border, or let it reach you within at most 60 seconds. Until you cross, the old area continues spawning its monsters. A boss kill opens the route to the next act. The cow level and Tristram pause Act I rather than using up its remaining clock.

Questions and answers

Six minutes. Areas follow Diablo II order, about a minute each. Act V is faster: Bloody Foothills at 0:00 and the Throne of Destruction at 4:15, according to the run page.

When do elites appear?

Every 90 seconds. The numbers page states that interval.

Is Terror five acts?

No. Terror is one offered act, nine waves, and a boss on wave ten.
