Controls
I copied the bind list from the official getting-started page on 29 October 2026. Gamepad support itself landed in changelog build 20261017.19. Deadzone is 5% to 50%, default 20%, and the setting stays in the browser you set it in. I have not redrawn an official keymap image, because the wiki does not publish one.

Keyboard
Esc or P opens the menu. Space closes every panel. C and I are character and inventory. H is the charm window. O is the mercenary. T is the skill tree. Q is quests. 1 through 4 drink potions. M mutes. L toggles the damage numbers.
Pad and touch
Left stick walks. A or Cross interacts. Y or Triangle opens the character. RT or R2 is the mercenary. View or Create is the automap. B or Circle is the skill tree. X or Square rests a skill. LB and RB swap skills. LT and RT show items. RS or R3 toggles damage. On a touch screen, dragging is the stick and a tap is a click. Long-press a skill to rest it. Portrait and landscape are both described, and Add to Home Screen goes fullscreen. Rebinding is supported.
Questions and answers
How do I change the map?
You do not pick the next Diablo II area by hand. The six-minute act clock advances the zone. Terror floors are chosen at the waypoint. The cow level and Tristram use red portals. If you meant the minimap, Tab cycles the automap through three states.
Which pads work?
The getting-started page names Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch Pro pads.

Source scope: the official site, FAQ, wiki and changelog share one publisher. Build IDs, installer sizes and detailed mechanics are single-source official claims unless a separate independent reference is identified. Several official links do not count as independent confirmation.
