Lag, black screen, and crashes
The one procedure I can point at without hedging is the FAQ's ANGLE flag. I read it on 29 October 2026: Chrome on Windows uses chrome://flags/#use-angle, Edge uses the edge:// equivalent, set D3D11on12, restart. The desktop app already does this. Everything else in the table is a changelog line with a build id, or a second site's generic advice marked as such.

What changed, and in which build
A second site adds: wait for the first load, disable a blocker, use desktop Chrome, Edge, or Firefox, and click the game if the keyboard is dead. I am keeping that list labeled as second-hand.
| Symptom | Build | What the log says |
|---|---|---|
| Whirlwind points at a new target and the screen goes black | 20261021.1 | Fixed |
| Phone returns from another app to a black screen | 20261018.5 | Fixed |
| Safari goes black after a resize | 20261019.1 | Prompt to reload or lower the resolution |
| Black screen while hero art fails to load | 20261026.1 | Fixed |
| Weak network, skill art missing, monsters as white orbs | 20261027.1 and 20261024.2 | Monsters wait for the art |
| Phone memory | 20261020.3 and 20261021.1 | Fewer monsters |
Questions and answers
There is no sound.
A second guide site says browsers block autoplay until you click the game, and to check that the tab is not muted. That is one site's advice, not an official error code.
How do I change the map when I am stuck?
You cannot pick the next zone. The act clock advances it. See the controls page for Tab and the waypoint.

Source scope: the official site, FAQ, wiki and changelog share one publisher. Build IDs, installer sizes and detailed mechanics are single-source official claims unless a separate independent reference is identified. Several official links do not count as independent confirmation.
