Diablo 2 Survivors: what the game actually is
I compared the official homepage, the getting-started wiki, and the 24 October 2026 Gadget Pilipinas article. All three say the same thing: seven classes, you supply Diablo II or Diablo II: Resurrected files, and the game is free. None of them print “Diablo 2 Survivors” as a second official title, so this page treats that phrase as the name people type.
A Diablo II kit, played like a survivors-like
You still pick one of the seven classic heroes. You still walk five acts, and the bosses are still the Diablo II sequence ending at Baal. What changes is the input. The getting-started page says skills cast on their own. You move, choose cards when you level, and pick up items.
Each act is six minutes. After Normal you can enter Nightmare, then Hell, then Terror tiers. Hardcore and a ladder exist. There is no account on the ladder. Gadget Pilipinas, writing independently on 24 October 2026, described the same shape: free, seven classes, your own files, browser or desktop.
Slots grow as the difficulty does
The numbers page on the official wiki is the place these counts live. They are not estimates.

What you need before the first camp
You need Diablo II plus Lord of Destruction 1.14, or a Diablo II: Resurrected install from Battle.net or Steam. The files stay on your machine. The browser copy asks for about 1.1 GB of site storage. The desktop apps ask for about 1.5 GB of disk and unpack once, about a minute and a half on the download page.
There is no official phone build, no console build, and no Steam store page for this game. A Steam store search for the name, recorded in the research notes on 29 October 2026, returned an unrelated demo only.
Questions and answers
Is Diablo 2 Survivors the same game as D2 Survivors?
Yes. The published name is D2 Survivors. “Diablo 2 Survivors” and “Diablo Survivors” are the names people search.
Is it a Diablo II: Resurrected mod?
No. Resurrected is one way to supply the game files. The wiki says sound and music can come from that install. A remastered look is not part of the current game; a creator reply quoted by a second site says that look is not available, and that reply is a single second-hand source.
Why do people call it Diablo 2 Vampire Survivors?
The genre is a survivors-like: you walk, skills fire automatically, hordes arrive. It is not Vampire Survivors and it is not a VTuber project.
