Opening choices and progression gates

These mechanics are sourced to the official wiki alone; no independent source confirms these exact current-build values. Route choices are editorial guidance, not tested final loadouts. Ordinary base skills need 8 learned ranks, evolution bases 1, the named catalyst and a chest after all character-level gates are met. The linked build page includes alternatives and Hell/Terror limits.

Fire, lightning, cold

Max Fire Bolt plus Warmth evolves into Fire Ball from character level 12. Fire Ball is already maxed at rank 1; Enchant plus character level 24 enables Meteor in a second chest. Warmth and Enchant serve different steps. Frozen Orb, Blizzard, Lightning, and Chain Lightning are the other lines the class page names. Terror compensation is 1.90×. Teleport sits on the lightning tree. There is no official build.

Questions and answers

Does Static Field get the Terror multiplier?

No. Static Field deals a percent of the monster's life, and the class page says the Terror multiplier does not apply to it.

What is the faster-cast cap?

Sorceress, Necromancer, Druid and Assassin gain half-effect cooldown reduction past the ordinary cap, up to 60%, or 67% with all Charsi Faster Cast Rate ranks. Amazon, Paladin and Barbarian stop at 50%, or 58% with Charsi. These percentages are cooldown reduction, not the FCR attribute value.

How many Hydras?

Six. The seventh replaces the oldest.
