Which D2 Survivors you are looking at
I opened three GitHub repositories on 29 October 2026 and compared their READMEs with the official download page. Stars and last-push dates below are from those repository pages that day. Saves are not described as interchangeable. I will not say that they transfer.
Side by side
The official robots.txt warns that copies which frame the game are not the official host. None of the GitHub projects is endorsed on the official site.
| Project | What it is | Noted that day |
|---|---|---|
| framara, d2survivors.lol | The game. Browser and Win, Mac, Linux apps. Your own Diablo II or Resurrected files. | Changelog build 20261028.2 |
| zombodotcom/d2survivors-releases | A third-party Windows launcher zip. No source in the repo. README requires your own Resurrected. | 7 stars, last push 2026-10-29 |
| non-npc/Diablo-Survivors | A different Godot project, v0.23 beta, Windows 10 x64. Classic discs. Not framara's game. | 25 stars, last push 2026-10-18 |
| kosoup/d2survivors-kr | A Korean terminology patch, desktop zip plus a browser extension that needs developer mode. Not a game. | 2 stars, last push 2026-10-17 |
Questions and answers
Can I use Diablo II: Resurrected?
On framara's game, yes, as the folder you select. The non-npc project's README lists classic discs and says the Battle.net edition is untested. It does not list Resurrected.
Are guide sites a version of the game?
No. Sites that explain the game are not installers. Their build numbers can lag the changelog.

Source scope: the official site, FAQ, wiki and changelog share one publisher. Build IDs, installer sizes and detailed mechanics are single-source official claims unless a separate independent reference is identified. Several official links do not count as independent confirmation.
