D2 Survivors
Blessed Hammer on the opening hand

Paladin in D2 Survivors

Updated 2026-10-29

Blessed Hammer is a level-1 opening card in this game. Concentration comes at 18, Zeal at 12 and Fanaticism at 30. Hammers do not crit, so a weapon-oriented Zeal plan uses different damage priorities.

Opening choices and progression gates

These mechanics are sourced to the official wiki alone; no independent source confirms these exact current-build values. Route choices are editorial guidance, not tested final loadouts. Ordinary base skills need 8 learned ranks, evolution bases 1, the named catalyst and a chest after all character-level gates are met. The linked build page includes alternatives and Hell/Terror limits.

Combat and two aura trees

Smite, Sacrifice, Vengeance, and Zeal hit the toughest target. Faster Cast Rate, Fanaticism and Meditation stop at their applicable cap; these cooldown effects do not keep scaling indefinitely. Paladin cooldown reduction normally caps at 50%, or 58% with all Charsi Faster Cast Rate ranks. Terror compensation is 1.70×. Lines the page describes: Blessed Hammer with Concentration and a defensive aura, Zeal with Fanaticism, or Fist of the Heavens and Holy Bolt.

Questions and answers

Can I take Blessed Hammer at level 1?

Yes. The official page says it is an opening card in this game.

Does Conviction break immunities?

Against immunity, Conviction applies its resistance reduction at one-fifth effectiveness, rounded down. It does not set the target resistance to one fifth. Immunity breaks only when the remaining resistance is below 100%; item-based minus enemy resistance can also break it.

Does the Paladin summon?

No. Conversion makes a monster fight for you for a while, then it turns back.
