Necromancer in D2 Survivors
Raise Skeleton, Teeth and Amplify Damage are the three fresh opening choices. Skeletons can rise from the ground without a corpse; Corpse Explosion and Revive consume fresh corpses. Choose a damage source before relying on corpse consumption.

Opening choices and progression gates
These mechanics are sourced to the official wiki alone; no independent source confirms these exact current-build values. Route choices are editorial guidance, not tested final loadouts. Ordinary base skills need 8 learned ranks, evolution bases 1, the named catalyst and a chest after all character-level gates are met. The linked build page includes alternatives and Hell/Terror limits.
| Route | Starting point | Progression boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Summon opening | Raise Skeleton | Skeleton Mastery → Revive (30). Corpse Explosion is a separate level-6 skill. |
| Bone opening | Teeth | Bone Wall → Bone Spear (18); Bone Armor → Bone Spirit (30). |
| Poison route | Poison Dagger from 6 | Faster Cast Rate → Poison Explosion (18); Lower Resist → Poison Nova (30). |
Curses, poison and bone, summoning
Skeletons and golems scale with energy for spells and strength for physical hits. Iron Golem is built from an item. Revive pulls a monster onto your side. Raise Skeleton with Amplify Damage or Decrepify and Corpse Explosion is one line the page describes. Poison Nova and a golem or revive line are the others. None is marked best.
Questions and answers
Do curses deal damage?
No. They also appear in the card pool at 40% of the rate of other skills.
Which curse wins if I have several?
Only one movement curse is active. The page's order is Terror, then Dim Vision, then Attract, then Confuse. Bosses ignore Terror, Dim Vision, and Confuse.
How is life different from Diablo II?
The class page says +4 life per level and +6 life per vitality, which it calls a middle-of-the-pack body.
