For a fresh build, start with Fire Arrow or Magic Arrow for bows, or Jab for javelins. Cold Arrow unlocks at 6 and Lightning Bolt at 12. Use the route table to distinguish those later skills from the opening hand.

Three trees
Bow and Crossbow, Javelin and Spear, and Passive and Magic. Arrows and javelins go to the nearest monster. A single-target skill picks the toughest: boss, then unique, then champion, then nearest. Physical, fire, cold, lightning, and poison all appear on the tree.

How a run feels
Keep distance. Valkyrie adds attacks but does not draw monster aggro. Elemental bows (fire or cold) and lightning javelins (Lightning Fury, Charged Strike) are the two shapes the skill page itself describes. Neither is marked as the best. Build 20261028.2 is the wiki context for these names.
Questions and answers
Why does the Amazon have no Terror multiplier?
She is the baseline. Other classes are scaled toward her speed. The absence of a bonus is not an official weakness label.
What does the Valkyrie do?
Valkyrie is an attacking companion that monsters never attack. Decoy redirects certain ordinary melee monsters, champions and swooping birds; uniques, act bosses and ranged or casting monsters ignore it.
Is there an official Amazon build?
No. The build page provides editorial progression routes based on the official rules, with catalysts and level gates; it is not an official recommendation.
